Why do we adopt the collective impact approach?
During our preparation process, which spanned for about a year, we received a lot of ideas and inspiration from our meetings with girls, non-governmental organizations, academics and teachers. In this process, we witnessed closely the existence of many valuable programs for education, health, nutrition, shelter, and the protection of children from all kinds of neglect and abuse thanks to years of effort and wisdom in the field. These testimonials and opinion-seeking meetings showed us that the most meaningful contribution we can make to the field is to take a supportive role in magnifying the impact of this knowledge.

What is collective impact?
Considering the needs in the field, we saw that the “collective impact” approach could be the best method for Suna’nın Kızları.

Collective impact is an approach that highlights the importance of gathering and collaborating to create a common impact which is in line with common objectives, and one that puts stakeholders to work together in a systematic method. The collective impact underlines the importance of justice and equity values in a systematic transformation, and offers a journey for learning together, harmonizing our works and unifying our actions.*

The framework of the collective impact provides five essential conditions that distinguish it from other types of collaboration: A common agenda, shared measurement, mutually reinforcing activities, continuous communication and a backbone team.**

Within these circles, as the backbone team, in collaboration with other member organizations working in the fields of education, children and women, we dream to take action, to join forces for impact and render action and impact sustainable.***

How do we plan to do this?
As the main methodology, we plan to collaborate with the support and solution circles that we created around the collective impact focus, for our common objectives and reinforce the links between different sectors to carry out common solutions. We believe that, this collaboration model that concentrates on the wellbeing of the most disadvantaged children will ensure the effective and equitable use of diminishing resources.
